Mikey's Gliding Page

to Mikes web page for gliding. I hope you all like the pages here. I
will be adding links to other pages when I find them out. I have been
gliding since 1990. I love the feeling when you are free. It is real
cool. I have added some real cool pics of flying. do enjoy it all. I
started to Glide when I was serving in the RAF in 1990 while in Germany.
It was easy then, no other life just to fly. Now though I see that my
friend Lynn was right, there is a life after flying. But try telling
that to my gliding friends. I learned to fly in a twin seater glider
call an Acro , this is is like must trainer gliders now a days: German
built. The world have stopped Germany designing good aircraft, so they
have put their energy into designing superb aircraft for us to fly. I
have now become and Air Experience Instructor thought this year I have
not flown at all due to work and relocation to my parents local area. I
do intend to fly more in the future at Lee- on Solent. I will be writing
and adding lots more on this when I have time to. So stay tuned in
because there will be some good stuff on here if you like that sort of
thing........ I loved it went we went to France and I did some gliding. I did have a small accident, but I am over that now thanks to some very good friends!!!!! I have got involved in some inter service gliding comps. They are such good fun. Mates you have not seen for years turn up for a week. About 100 gliders go around cross country tasks to see who is the fastest and the best in each group. I will write more on this later. It is also a good time to chat in the bar after a hard days flying. This can be real fun! |

| I have some good friends in the gliding world. I hope I have still got them as friends as I have been away for a while. life goes on as you can see in my new site. Remember life is to short.
